Fully Organized Beaches
Barbati
This beautiful long stretched pebble beach is located 17km north of Corfu at the east coastline. The beach is organized and provides umbrellas and sun beds for rent, several restaurants, cafes and snack bars are available. You can do water sports or rent a motor boat to explore the calm waters at the east coast.Glyfada
Glyfada is a sandy beach in the western part of the island. The beach, one of the most famous beaches of the island, stretches about 2.5 km and is awarded by the blue flag. Sun beds and umbrellas are offered for rent and several restaurants and cosmopolitan bars are located directly at the beach.Water sports are offered and the beach is easy accessible by car or local bus from Corfu town. Lifeguards on duty.
Pelekas Kontogialos
South east of Glyfada is Pelekas, a long sandy organized beach, accessible by car down a narrow winding road. The beach has 4 taverns and is gently sloping into the sea. As at Glyfada the beach is monitored by lifeguards and a warning flag system is in operation.
Paleokastritsa
The long stretched village offers beautiful scenery along the coastline with 6 bays and superb beaches. Paleokastritsa is known for its cool turquoise waters and ideal for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving and other water sports. On most of the beaches there are taxi boats, sun beds, umbrellas, pedalos and motor boats for rent. It is worth to visit the blue caves.
